The Gothia Cup is one of the most prestigious football tournaments in the world!

During their trip the players will receive top quality coaching and attend workshops run by the coaching staff and physiotherapists on issues such as nutrition and hydration, sports psychology and injury prevention. Off the pitch the players will meet and make friends with players from different cultures and backgrounds. The tournament will be great fun and a fantastic environment for the players to develop both as footballers and as young men.

The team stay in a School near the Centre of Gothenburg. The School has a canteen where the team will eat during the tournament.

Over 80 nations will take part in the tournament, bringing together some of the most talented youth footballers in the world. The Opening Ceremony will take place in the world famous Ullevi stadium, with over 52,000 people in the crowd.

The tournament finals will be watched by 30,000 spectators and broadcast all over the world.

Gothenburg is Sweden’s second largest city and an ideal venue. With excellent transport network and two airports, as well as plenty of tourist activities (including a huge theme park in the city centre) this is an ideal location for the tournament.
