Covid-19 Protocols

  • Numbers attending at any one time have been reduced. The Under 11 trial, which is the most popular, has been split into three groups with parents asked to pre-register their time of arrival.
  • Contact details of all those attending have been collected for Track & Trace purposes
  • Pre-attendance: All parents and players should self-assess prior to leaving home. Anyone who is symptomatic (cough/smell/taste) or suspects they have been exposed to Covid-19 must not attend.
  • Players and officials should sanitise hands before and after games, training and during any breaks in play
  • We ask players not to arrive early. When you do arrive, please wait outside the facility or in your car until your time slot
  • On arrival everyone entering the facility will have their temperature taken.  A temperature of above
37.8 C will result in access being denied.
  • We ask for a minimal number of parents to attend. While we appreciate family logistics may mean more than one parent or siblings need to attend, the trial should not be considered a
    ‘family outing’.
  • Players must come changed. Toilets but no changing rooms will be available.
  • Players and officials should sanitise hands before and after games, training and during any breaks in play
  • Team goal celebrations should be avoided
  • Ball handling should be kept to a minimum. We will be using kick-ins rather than throw-ins, for example
  • Players are reminded not to share equipment e.g. bibs, gloves and cones
  • If any equipment is shared, (such as goals) we will disinfect it using sanitiser after each group has used it
  • Players are asked to leave the pitch promptly at the end of their booking period
  • Players are to social distance pre and post games, as per Government advice
  • Spectators, substitutes, coaches and selectors to social distance as per Government guidance
